What Is Melasma?
Melasma is a common pigmentation disorder that causes brown or gray patches to appear on the skin, primarily on the face. It occurs when there is an excessive amount of melanin on the skin when it is exposed to the sun. The most common areas where melasma appears include the bridge of the nose, forehead, cheeks, and the upper lip. Melasma can also appear on other parts of the body that are exposed to sunlight including the forearms, neck, and shoulders. BYou Laser Clinic offers several treatments that are effective for treating melasma, including chemical peels, microneedling, the PRP facial, and the laser skin treatment.

Laser Skin Treatment
BYou’s non-invasive laser genesis treatment is a great solution to problems like uneven skin and discoloration. Our certified aesthetician will use a specialized laser to gently heat the skin, stimulating collagen growth under the surface.
Ultrasonic Cavitation
Ultrasonic cavitation is a body treatment that uses ultrasonic waves to create tiny bubbles around fat deposits under the skin. The bubbles then pop, breaking up the fat deposits and changing them into glycerol and free fatty acids.
Microneedling
BYou’s minimally invasive microneedling treatment offers a safe and effective way to tighten skin on the face. Our aestheticians use a specialized device to create microscopic injuries in the skin, promoting collagen and elastin production. The result is improved skin texture and firmness, with a reduction in acne scars, fine lines and wrinkles, and pore size.
